“The Battle For God”, by Karen Armstrong, is a great read on the subject of the rise of fundamentalism across Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. (I know I’ve already recommended it to you, Turadg, like 50 times)…but it makes my top 5 in books – and 1 of the other top 5 is “A History of God” by the same author. She knows her stuff.
